Update: 9-5-2019
We have some more news to share. Onlyfans heard our cries and recently updated the prompt screen to reveal two options, which includes a full refund for Blocked subscribers.

This is a good step into the right direction. The refund isn't retro-active which means you would still have to contact support@onlyfans.com or @onlyfanssupport to process your request, if you was blocked prior to this change.

Blocking a subscriber will now result in that user being issued a full refund. The refund will be deducted from the Model's earnings. We believe this will help prevent models from commenting fraud or removing subscribers out of spite.

Use extreme caution while communicating with Models for now on. The dynamics of Onlyfans have changed.  It's unlikely, for models to remove the block after a certain time period like "probation". Once they block you, it's most likely forever.

Podcast Discussion: Controversial New Block Feature | Know your rights

Original Post: 9-2-19

Recently, we have received reports that consumers are logging into their accounts and shocked to find out that they no longer have access to their paid subscriptions. All users, including Onlyfans Models has the ability to block someone. However, if you paid for their subscription and was blocked—this will cause an effect that will make you lose your 30-day subscription before it expires. They keep your money and don't issue an automatic refund, which is illegal in the US. It was ridiculously irresponsible for Onlyfans to create this type of issue. It wasn't well thought-out or executed properly.

If you contact CCBill the merchant that handles their billing for a refund, will refer you back to Onlyfans's customer support team. CCbill will not issue a direct refund. You must either contact Onlyfans or contact your local bank. If you opt to contact your local bank and reverse the bank charge, you could risk having your credit card blocked or losing your account entirely on the service. So make sure you're not subscribed to any other channels if you use that option.

A blocking feature is dangerous and it leaves the customers in a extremely vulnerable position. This level of power, shouldn't be granted to Models because there's a high likelihood it will be abused. You can be blocked simply because the Model had a bad day, or because they didn't like a comment or suggestion. It could be used as a tool to silence and manipulate their critics and strike fear into anyone that challenge them. Also, scammers can get very creative with a feature like this. It's way too much power, and should be removed immediately.

Blocking customers should only be used as a last resort. And regulated solely by the Customer Support Team in extreme circumstances like (stalking, threatening bodily harm, or illegal piracy if proven). It shouldn't be used simply to silence or flex your power against a disgruntled fan.

Could you just imagine this blocking feature in the hands of people like Jeramie Hollins or Seth Holbrooks? Scary.

The muting option is best suited for onlyfans, which allows the model to remove your ability to comment or send them Direct Messages. However, completely removing a paid-subscriber before their expiration date is reckless, unfair and criminal. To put it plainly, It's thief.

When abuse of power comes too easily, it will attract potential scammers and pathological individuals who may try to take advantage of the system. If this issue becomes more wide-spread it could potentially cause massive distrust among it's users and destroy the beloved Onlyfans community.

Currently, there is no warnings or mention in their Terms of Service Agreement about the ramifications of this new block feature. For Now, you have the legal right in the US to ask for a refund, or dispute the charge with your local bank.

Until the block feature is removed. Please use the following steps  to avoid losing your subscription.

1. Don't Comment or Like a post
2. Don't Send Direct Messages
3. Use a name that won't cause too much attention (or use the default user ID). Don't use the same name or variations of your name used on social media.
4. Only subscribe to models with a good reputation or approved by ebonynsweet.com.
5. Avoid models that display unprofessional behavior or can't accept critical feedback or suggestions.

The point is to be invisible! There are over 1 million scenarios that exist that could trigger a model to block you. Maybe they didn't like a comment or maybe you asked to see something that offended them? Who knows. The best way to stop an unnecessary situation from happening is to just sit back, and don't interact with them at all. Don't place a target on your back.

The average frequent user spends around $50-80 dollars per month on Onlyfans. It's an investment. Because, you pre-paid for services  30-days in advance.  It would be a horrible situation if you would lose that investment over some pettiness. Be Wise. And move silently.
